Minors

Academic minors are programs that require in-depth study in a discipline without the breadth of a full major. These academic minors are options for students, not required, and must be taken in conjunction with one or more majors. To earn a minor the student must attain a GPA of at least 2.000 in all courses applied toward the minor. Additional policies governing specific minors are outlined in the sections addressing the program’s majors. As with majors, minors must be officially declared by students. Students must submit a Declaration of Major/Minor form to the registrar’s office prior to registration for the final semester of enrollment.
