Majors

A fundamental graduation requirement for all students is the completion of an academic major with a GPA of 2.000 in all courses applied toward the major.  By the end of their 4th semester, students must file a Declaration of Major form with the registrar’s office in order to be eligible to register for the third year (5th semester) of study.  Students are required to complete the major requirements in effect at the time the student submits the form to the registrar.

Note: For students completing a disciplinary/departmental major, no more than 60 semester hours of credit earned in the major discipline may be applied toward the total semester hours of credit required for graduation.
